Ticketing & Refund policies
We get that sometimes plans change. But we’re also a tiny indie company—which means we’re relying on every ticket sale to keep Throughline events going and ourselves fed. We’ve developed this policy to be as fair as possible to all parties. If you have any questions, just email us.
Refunds & ticket transfers
If you bought a ticket to a Throughline event and can no longer attend:
We’re bummed you can’t make it! Here’s our ticket refund and transfer policy for all Throughline events, whether online or in person:
Option 1: Transfer your registration to another person for free anytime until 48 hours before the event begins. To transfer your registration, just email us at throughline@activevoicehq.com with the following information:
Name and email of the original registrant
Name and email of the original purchaser, if different
Name and email of the person to transfer the registration to
Option 2: Cancel your registration at least 28 days in advance of the event, and receive a 50% refund. We’ll send this refund back to your original payment method. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 28 days before an event.

Event cancellation: In the unlikely event that we cancel a Throughline event, your ticket will be fully refunded to the original payment method.
Date changes: If we change the dates of a ticketed event, you will be given the option of keeping your ticket for the new dates, or receiving a full refund.
Schedule changes: Given the logistics of coordinating multiple speakers, locations, timezones, etc., it may be necessary for us to modify our event schedules from time to time. These might include changes to the lineup, session start and end times, and break times. We are unable to offer refunds in the event of these adjustments.
Price adjustments: We may occasionally offer special pricing via discount codes or sales. Unfortunately, if you already purchased your ticket at a higher rate, we are unable to offer a price adjustment.
