WORKSHOP
From People-Pleaser to Strategic Partner
How to drive design conversations and navigate pushback productively
January 29 from 4:30-6pm ET or January 30 from 9-10:30am ET
Designers, researchers, and content teams often feel pressure to make everyone happy: to be easy to work with, to avoid conflict, to never push back or set boundaries. But this hasn’t given us the power we crave—instead, it’s led to burnout, resentment, and and endless debate about “proving our value.”
Enough. Join Sara Wachter-Boettcher for an interactive workshop that shows you how to stop people-pleasing and trying to make everyone happy—and start showing up to your relationships as a strategic partner ready to drive things forward.
Come with your biggest challenges collaborating with product and other partners—and leave with new skills for:
Setting expectations and agreements
Getting useful feedback when you actually need it
Having hard conversations when expectations and agreements aren’t met
